Thing is a creature from beginning of time. She lives on a planet full of darkness and she is lonely. The darkness envelops her, just as when stepping into water, it surrounds her entire body without exception, it consumes her completely. Thing represents everything and nothing, things you can feel, a memory, situation, person, an emotion- anyThing. That is why thing is a thing; it is up to you to decide what she represents.

She moves around in darkness searching for something. When she finds it, she creates light.
